Helping students reflect on their interests and values can provide insights into the types of careers and schooling that may be a good fit. Whether they value helping others, solving problems, being creative, working outdoors, or having flexibility in their career, those priorities can help guide their exploration.

The next step is to turn those insights into action. Students can realize opportunities by joining clubs, volunteering, participating in job shadowing experiences, attending career fairs, taking career assessments, or exploring courses related to their interests.
