Congratulations to TASB Risk Management Fund Board Trustee Tory Hill on being named Region 4 ESC 2026 Superintendent of the Year!

Congratulations to Dr. Tory C. Hill of Channelview ISD, Region 4's 2026 Superintendent of the Year! 🎉

Earlier today, we had the privilege of surprising Dr. Hill with the news and celebrating this well-deserved recognition.

Under Dr. Hill's leadership, Channelview ISD improved its state accountability rating from a C to a B, increased college, career, and military readiness among graduates to 96 percent, and expanded innovative learning opportunities for students.

Dr. Hill will now advance as Region 4's nominee for Texas Superintendent of the Year, to be announced by the Texas Association of School Boards at txEDCON26 in October.
