We are so proud of our Texas Cheer & Pom girls, Haylee Thompson and Holly Foegelle!!! π¦π€πΌπ§‘π§‘
βMy favorite part of being involved in both Texas Pom and Chi Omega is the people! Pom has taught me discipline, teamwork, and what it looks like to work toward something bigger than myself, and Chi O has given me some of my closest friendships and a support system that makes such a big school feel smaller. Having both has helped me find a balance between pursuing my goals and building meaningful relationships. Iβm so thankful to be surrounded by women who constantly encourage me to grow and am in awe of the friendships, memories, and opportunities that have come from being a part of both organizations!!β

βBeing a part of Texas Spirit Orange Squad and Chi O in college is truly the biggest blessing I could have asked for. My favorite part of having Orange Squad and Chi O in college is the people I have met. From cheering at football games with my best friends on Orange Squad to recruitment and philanthropy events with my forever sisters in Chi O, I have met the people that have impacted my life in the best way. I have gotten the experience of a lifetime in both Orange Squad and Chi O to grow as a cheerleader, sister, mentor, and friend. I am forever thankful for the memories, experiences, and people from Orange Squad and Chi O, who have shown me endless support, created a welcoming environment, and have made my college experience as special as it has been.β

This is Tate Maxham from Wilmette, IL, PC β25!!! ππ
βComing to UT as an out of state student was extremely daunting. The thought of having to move to a completely new city and try and find friends anything like my tight knit high school friend group felt pretty impossible. But as soon as I felt the genuine kindness and love radiating from Chi O I instantly knew what seemed impossible was so possible! Chi O has made the scary step of starting a new chapter so easy and Iβm so grateful for all the lifelong sisters Iβve met along the way. Iβve never felt more supported, loved, or more like myself than I do around these girls. Iβm so happy to have found my home away from home, and I canβt wait for all the memories to come!β
We love you, Tate!!! π¦

βFrom the moment I walked into Chi O during recruitment, it was clear I was surrounded by women who are genuinely so kind and intentional!! Each and every woman in this organization is so well-rounded and classy, and I truly look up to them in all that they do for our chapter! I remember being so nervous to go to college away from my older sister, but in meeting the older Chi Os I have felt an overwhelming comfort. I chose Chi O and it has been one of my biggest college blessings! It is a sisterhood that has given me a true sense of community, and I I feel incredibly lucky to get to do life alongside some of my very best friends!! πβ
