Tarot with Tommy

Just to hedge my bets, I am going to send out a request to all of my Chicagoland tribe. After 17 years of living in my apartment my time may be up soon. The landlord is selling the building and there is an offer already on the table.

There is a slight chance the new owner may want me to remain as a tenant, but I am facing the real possibility that a move may be imminent.

So . . . I need help locating possible rentals in the Western or Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. And to answer in advance, "No, I do not want to own. I only want to rent."

I don't mind staying close to where I am in Berwyn, but closer to Elgin might be nice in order to reduce my epic commute. I plan to do my own research, of course, but any insights and/or resources that my Chicagoland friends can share would be hugely helpful.

This is so not how I hoped to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday - but life seldom goes the way we think it will go.

As I revive my long-dormant tarot reading energies, I asked for a message to start things out. The card that popped out of the deck was the SUN, #19 of the Major Arcana. I love this energy as a starting point for more intentional spiritual work. It's a sign of vibrancy, life, expansion and synergy with others. Yes! Bring it on. :-)
