As we welcome summer, we are focusing again on summer fibers and yarns that won't break the bank 🧶! Sirdar Stories is a cotton/acrylic blend that works wonderfully for garments, accessories, and community knits like chemo caps! With so many colors to choose from, each hue is a new story 🌈! Happy Juneteenth!
Juneteenth is a holiday that celebrates June 19, 1865, the day when Major General Gordon Granger ordered the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas at the end of the American Civil War. This holiday is commonly referred to as America's Second Independence Day, and historical celebrations date back to as early as 1866, and Juneteenth is the most recently added federally recognized holiday (2021) followed by Martin Luther King Jr. Day (1983).

Take a moment to appreciate some patterns dedicated to Juneteenth, and celebrate Black American pattern designers!
