A childhood chemistry set ignited a passion in Ron Amey ’74 that earned him awards in high school, including a trip to an international science fair in Japan. His time at Lehigh, thanks to Prof. Ned Heindel, honed his research skills and led to a doctorate and a successful career at DuPont. Now, the Ameys have created an endowment to support summer undergraduate chemistry research – helping students forge a path forward.
