We wish you the best in your future as an intern or licensed funeral director. Thank you for pursuing funeral service.
Our philosophy is that it all starts with ATTITUDE. Our goal is to continue our family tradition of helping families whether it is a full service earth burial, direct cremation, memorial service, direct burial or pre-arrangement. Attention to detail and options are important for families, society and the funeral home. We strive to follow the Golden Rule and believe in win, win, win and win. The family wins, the community wins, you as an individual win and the funeral home wins. We are interested in the future as well as the present. Attention to detail is very important. On time means arriving ten minutes early. We expect you to have enough pride in yourself, the families WE serve and our funeral home that if you see something that needs to be done, you will take care of it yourself if appropriate, notify the proper professional person or notify the office.
We are located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania and serve over 500 families a year in a facility that was built as a funeral home, added a crematory and has adequate parking but as you know, or will find out, there are times that there is never enough parking. Your attitude, attention to detail, drive and appearance will determine your future in life and at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home whether you are interested in a position as a licensed funeral director, intern or a part-time position while you are completing your mortuary school education. Please see our website www.huffandlakjer.com. Please reply with resume to [email protected] and copy [email protected] to discuss particulars and options.
