Samford Drum Major Clinic! June 30th 2-7pm, Dinner Provided

We are excited to introduce the first-ever Samford Drum Major Clinic! Our guest clinician this year will be Mr. Samuel Crawford, former drum major of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, where he helped lead the organization to one gold medal and two bronze medals.Mr. Crawford will present sessions covering drum major leadership, conducting fundamentals, and have an open Q&A. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in an in-person masterclass where they may conduct portions of their upcoming marching band show and receive live feedback and instruction from him directly.

The Samford University Wind Ensemble will present its final concert of the spring semester, American Footsteps, on April 21, 2026.

Join us for an evening of traditional and contemporary wind band music featuring works by Leonard Bernstein, Julie Giroux, Henry Fillmore, and Richard Saucedo.

The concert is free and open to the public and will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall on campus at Samford University.
