This spring Hannah Mills from came in to teach Ms. Blackwell’s class about screen printing and how to make their own prints from their drawings! You can find these original prints made by Ms. Blackwell’s Class at the auction link in our profile. 🫟🖌️🖼️

At last week’s Spring Concert, children, parents, and community members began building a community tree—sharing reflections on what Alabama Waldorf School means to them and the community we continue to grow together.

As the only Waldorf school in Alabama, this community and the experience it creates are truly unique! Here are the ways you can participate in our Rooted in Community Campaign:

The campaign runs through May 22, with the auction closing May 21 at 5 PM.

Ms. Bradley’s class has returned from their class trip! It’s hard to put a week like this into just a few words, but here’s a glimpse into what the students experienced together in Puerto Rico…

Class trips like this don’t happen on their own. They are carried by a community.

To everyone who supported Ms. Bradley’s class and their fundraising efforts, thank you. You helped make this experience possible. You gave these children the gift of growing together in a new and beautiful place.

They will carry it with them always. 🇵🇷♥️

A year of tending, and our hillside is beginning to tell its story!🌱

Through intentional planning and seeding by , the erosion has slowed, and life is returning to the hillside. Ms. Bradley’s students worked with Ms. Downs to remove some of the ground cover and now this space is ready. The soil is nutrient-rich and full of possibility for berry bushes, new plants, and the students and teachers who will continue to enjoy their living classroom!
