One of the biggest style mistakes I see? Thinking versatility means sticking to basics and avoiding pieces with personality.

For this client, a classic-preppy mom of 3 who works in a creative field, we focused on pieces that feel special while still working hard in her wardrobe.

Both the printed matching set and the polka dot sundress have plenty of personality. The playful prints add interest, charm, and individuality, making the outfits feel far more memorable than a basic solid-color dress or set.

But here's the key: personality doesn't mean limited.

The matching set can be worn together for an effortless, polished look or styled as separates with wardrobe staples. The polka dot dress transforms simply by changing the shoes and handbag.

When choosing statement pieces, look for prints in colors that coordinate with the rest of your wardrobe. That's what makes them versatile. Which outfit is your favorite?

What to wear to the ballpark (or any hot sunny day outside) when you don’t want to default to activewear?

One thing I hear from clients: they don’t necessarily feel their most pulled together in workout clothes, but they also aren’t sure what else to wear when it’s really hot outside & sweating is involved.

So today I’m sharing a few easy outfit formulas and real life looks from my own closet that feel comfortable, breathable, casual, and still pulled together for ballgames, outdoor lunches, errands, festivals, and summer weekends.

What I always want to remind women is this: dressing “your age” isn’t about rules. It’s knowing what feels good on your body, what reflects your lifestyle, and how to mix pieces in a way that feels like you.

Style isn’t about starting over with every decade; it’s about editing, mixing, and understanding your personal language of dressing.

Met Gala 2026 ✨

Third year helping style this incredible client for the Met Gala and it’s truly been an honor every single time. This year’s theme, Costume Art, was all about fashion as storytelling — every detail carefully curated, crafted, and officially approved as part of the process.

For those who love a little behind-the-scenes context: the Met Gala is invite-only, with each look developed months in advance in collaboration with designers, stylists, and the Costume Institute team. Nothing makes it to the red carpet without going through a thoughtful approval process.

Grateful to help accessorize this client and support her vision coming to life on such a special night.
