Saddle up! The Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is hosting a special Year of the Fire Horse Lecture Series from February through September, 2026. These lectures will explore the history of horses and Chinese communities in Idaho. All presentations are offered at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Thousand Springs Visitor Center in Hagerman, ID.

Speakers from The Watershed Education Center recently presented for the Osher Institute and shared that there will be a showing of "Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong" at the Egyptian Theater on Wednesday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m.

This comedic documentary puts a long-overdue spotlight on the people who keep our water renewal systems running and the aging infrastructure they work hard to maintain every day.
