CDA was proud to host the annual Manny Adler and Jon Miller Rotary Bikes for Kids Event.
150 Chula Vista students received bikes, helmets, and safety training, helping support healthy, active, and joyful childhoods.
We’re grateful to be part of this meaningful community event and thank the Chula Vista Rotary and all event partners for their commitment to creating positive change 💛

✨ Today, CDA celebrates Charlene Tressler Day 💙
The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors officially recognized June 1 as Charlene Tressler Day in honor of our founder’s lasting impact and dedication to early childhood education.
For more than 37 years, Charlene championed the belief that every child deserves access to high-quality care. Her passion, leadership, and vision built the foundation of CDA and created a legacy that continues to make a difference today.
Because of her commitment to children and families, CDA has grown into a strong nonprofit organization with more than 380 employees dedicated to creating positive change throughout our community and in the lives of those we serve; over 11k families, 31k children, and 15k providers across our programs.
Today, we proudly honor Charlene’s vision, leadership, and enduring impact. Thank you, Charlene, for helping build a stronger future for children, families, and child care providers.
