Join us this Friday for spring themed messy play in the park! A chance for toddlers to get in on the fun- infant aged siblings can grab a spot too. We have infant classes starting May 7 (rain and cold delayed the start.) If there’s a good turnout of toddlers, I’ll add a toddler session too!

It’s not just what a child is doing during play, but how the brain naturally reacts to it. Messy play promotes brain development because it activates multiple areas of the brain at the same time. When areas “light up” together, they create connections between. Those connections are foundational ones needed to move onto more complex tasks. Research describes the activity in a child’s brain during sensory play as a fireworks show.
This unique play style is so physically, emotionally and cognitively stimulating that it accomplishes even more all in one shot- promoting independent problem solving, language acquisition & retention, laying a foundation for emotional regulation, motor skills, decision making, reinforces learning through the scientific process and even supports better eating. (It’s also really, really fun and colorful.)
