Join artist Elizabeth Donsky for 100 Drawings: an immersive studio experience designed to strengthen your drawing practice through experimentation, volume, and momentum. Working at a pace of 20 drawings per day, students will move through observation, imagination, collage, painting media, monotypes, and mixed media approaches in a process that feels more like a visual marathon than a traditional drawing class.

Elizabeth is no stranger to rigorous creative practice. Image 4 features her installation Animal Vegetable Mineral — a project created for a NYC Garment District storefront in which she produced a new drawing installation each day across nine days, allowing each environment to evolve through color, repetition, space, and transformation.

Elizabeth’s work explores how drawings can reshape a space architecturally, visually, and conceptually — and that same spirit of curiosity and sustained making carries into her teaching.
With a career spanning site-specific installations and teaching appointments at RISD, Brown, Hofstra, and Drexel, Elizabeth invites students to embrace process, trust experimentation, and discover what happens when they simply keep making.
100 drawings. Endless possibilities.

Massachusetts Schools Keep Creative Workshops Alive 06/09/2026

Excited to be included in Brennan Cole's article, “MA Schools Keeping Handmade Arts and Creative Workshops Alive.” 🎨
We believe creative growth happens through making, experimenting, and learning alongside others. It’s very rewarding to see the value of hands-on arts education highlighted in this conversation.

Step into the landscape this summer and embrace the thrilling challenge of painting directly from observation with Elizabeth O'Reilly. Learn to capture shifting light, vibrant color, and the energy of a place as it unfolds before you.

Through demonstrations, one-on-one instruction, and group critiques, you'll build confidence working in oil, acrylic, or watercolor as you develop stronger composition, color, and observational skills.

O’Reilly brings decades of experience as an instructor, with residencies in Ireland, Wyoming, and Illinois, and awards including a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and the Charles G. Shaw Award for Painting.

Experience the magic of painting in the moment as clouds shift, shadows move, and colors change before your eyes. It's a rewarding challenge, and one of the most exciting ways to grow as an artist.

Sometimes the most meaningful part of an education is the people you meet along the way ❤️

On the very first day of MassArt’s Fashion Design Certificate, Sarah shared her passion of working in costume design. Sabra immediately crossed the room to introduce herself, and the two quickly became collaborators, supporters, and close friends.

Two years later, they’re graduating with far more than technical skills in fashion design. They’re leaving with a creative partnership, a community, and someone who understands and supports their ambitions every step of the way. ✨

At MassArt Professional and Continuing Education, students come to grow creatively and discover a community that continues long after the classroom.

HUGE congratulations to these two. You did it!!!
