One of our favorite events of the year City and Community Engagement Heart of the Community awards and this year hosted at the Fenway Center on St Stephen’s street. A lovely evening of community and congrats to all the honorees, including South End Soccer The Soccer Unity Project and Caroline Foscato for their work bringing unity through soccer to Boston. Can’t wait for the Unity Cup! ⚽️💙❤️

Wonderful evening at the annual Fenway Ball overlooking the iconic Fenway Park! What a backdrop for an inspiring evening emceed beautifully by Carol Lasky. Special guest speaker Ted Landsmark reminded us all about the power of community, the arc of justice, and the real work that goes into creating a neighborhood for everyone. is leading the way in the Fenway and we are honored to support their mission as we collaborate on many projects together. It was inspiring to be among so many people doing the work in The Fenway! 💚🌲🌱

We are delighted to honor John Tobin at Love the Fenway – Ten Together on May 21st! His leadership and dedication embodies the mission and core values of the Fenway Community Center before and throughout his time as a Boston City Council Member and as Vice President of City and Community Engagement at Northeastern. John Tobin reflects the spirit of the Fenway—dynamic, resilient, and committed to building a more connected, compassionate, and forward-thinking city. John has gone beyond neighborhood boundaries to drive positive change, foster inclusivity, and champion equity across Boston with projects and initiatives such as Northeastern Crossing, Fenway Cares, Co-Ops in Service to Our Neighbors, and more. He has advanced the ideals of community empowerment and inclusivity that lie at the heart of the Center’s work. Across all sectors, John has used his comedic background to build trust and connection through a people first, down to earth approach.
