This May more than 300 representatives from 100 Massachusetts school districts attended a My Career and Academic Plan (MyCAP) showcase that highlighted a student-centered, multi-year framework that helps learners connect their education to meaningful postsecondary pathways.
Through its partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, PCG is supporting the statewide implementation of MyCAP, helping districts integrate structured, future-focused planning into everyday student experiences.

Last week, PCG experts presented at the 2026 Southeast Conference on School Climate on an options-based decision-making approach to help non-security staff recognize risks, report concerns, and respond effectively during escalating situations and strategies to strengthen leadership, improve school climate, and advance student outcomes. As the school year comes to a close, we are reflecting on our partnership with the New Mexico Public Education Department to deliver statewide professional development focused on inclusive practices, culturally responsive instruction, and data-informed decision-making. In 2024, this partnership expanded through a multi-year collaboration with the Office of Special Education to develop instructional modules and provide in-person and virtual professional learning for educators and service providers, administrators, aspiring leaders, families, and caregivers.
To date, PCG has delivered more than 110 professional development sessions, and supported the state's annual Parent University, a no cost statewide family conference created to empower parents and caregivers of students with disabilities.
