Thank you to everyone who stopped by our pop-up concert outside Dudley Cafe earlier last month! Performed by our friends from Goodwill and led by music therapist Hannah Johnson as part of the 50th Anniversary of the CMCB Music Therapy Program, it was especially meaningful to celebrate alongside a partner who has been with us for more than 20 years.
Seeing so many people stop, listen, sing, dance, and share the moment was a touching reminder of the power of music therapy—and music’s incredible ability to bring people together!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for CMCB Creates, both in person at Allen Hall and online! It was such a joy to experience a wide range of original works written and performed by our faculty and staff.
From the playful opening piece by Manuel García-Baró, performed by students, to Everything is Fine by Jared Field, Sprout by Aditi Malhotra, and Orsino’s Lament by A.J. Gaudreau, the night was full of memorable moments. We closed with Fatherhood (Suite for Solo Bassoon) by Manuel García-Baró, performed by our Executive Director, Lecolion Washington.
We hope you had as much fun as we did and can't wait to see you again next year!
