Post #5 - Meet our amazing Park Street School (PSS) Graduates! 🎓

✨Lydia ~
My time at PSS has been so magical that I am speechless. To be a part of this class has been an honor. As we all move on to new schools, be bold, be brave, be kind, and go outside your comfort zone. Thank you everyone for the support and care you have given me during my time at PSS!

✨Bruk ~
Thank you teachers and friends, and family for making my complete journey at PSS possible. Some advice I would give to fellow grads; Never give up your dreams. I’d also like to thank the PSS community for helping me through every up and down.

✨Shea ~
PSS is a big part of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Something I have learned at PSS is that friendships are solid relationships that can help build someone’s character. Most people might not like waking up early, or learning for a day, but school is where you make friends that will impact who you are as a person.

I believe that PSS has done a phenomenal job in finding every student’s potential and making them feel proud, heard, valued, and recognized as a child of God. Thank you for equipping me with skills that I will carry with me forever, encouraging me, helping me feel valued, and for all you’ve done guiding me to become who I am today.

✨Graham ~
In first grade I was very shy. If I was told that I would have to participate in plays and host chapel in front of the whole school, I would cower and be afraid. I am now able to speak confidently in front of a large group of people. Thank you for an amazing time, PSS!

✨Quinn ~
My journey at PSS began when I was just two years old! During my time I have acquired many new friends who will have a special place in my heart forever. Throughout my years at PSS, I have not only gotten smarter, but I have also learned to care, to love, to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be.

There are a lot of storms in life but if you can enjoy them and be courageous and caring, then it will make the storm a lot easier to survive. I am sad to leave the great community of PSS but am excited for new opportunities and thankful for the wonderful memories that I have at PSS.

✨Gabe ~
At PSS, I have learned lessons about persistence that I will never forget. PSS has not only prepared me academically but also personally. I used to struggle with public speaking, but PSS has given me numerous opportunities to practice and gradually get better so that now I am proud to say that I’m mostly not afraid to speak publicly.

✨Jane ~
I have many important memories at PSS and have met my best and very close friends here. I’ve had A LOT of adventures! To all students, don’t miss out on Grade 6 at PSS! Trust me, you will have the best time in sixth grade if you stay. To everybody, remember to stand up for each other and yourself and be kind to one another.

To all my teachers, you have done more than just teach me. You have left an imprint on my heart that will never fade. To all my classmates, I had a great time learning and growing with you. Take care of yourselves, no matter where God is taking you next. Remember to enjoy spending time with all your friends and teachers.

✨Christopher ~
My time at PSS has been a blessing. I am sad this is my last year because I have made so many friends this year, from Toddler to Grade 6 and beyond. My teachers have not only taught me academics but also taught me about God and helped me develop who I am as a person.

✨Hattie ~
Remember this bible verse that has helped me, and I believe it can help you. “You can do anything through Christ who strengthens you.” You can’t accomplish it if you don’t try. Try your hardest in everything you do and don’t expect a reward when you're nice to someone or something, do it just because that’s what Jesus would do.

My time at PSS has been great. I have made good connections with my classmates and learned about God more, appreciating everything He has sacrificed for me. A lesson I have learned at PSS is to have confidence in yourself, go into spaces with positivity, stay on top of your work, and enjoy each year!

✨Elijah~
My time at PSS was rich in friendship, cooperation, kindness, and good memories together. My friends (along with my amazing teachers and awesome parents) kept pushing me to become a better person, helping me grow and blossom into the person I am today. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me as I go to a new school next year!

✨Amanda~
If you don’t give up, you will find the path that was meant for you. Some days might bring bad news, but others may bring an amazing thing into your life, or maybe a person that may bring you joy. When the days get tough, have faith in God to bring you to the next good thing in your life.

🏅 A day of teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit!

Our Grade Three - Six students recently took to the track for one of the highlights of the spring; our Park Street School Track & Field Day at Boston College High School.

From the 100m sprint and 4x100m relay to long jump, javelin, shot put, and the 400m, our student-athletes showed determination, encouragement, and resilience every step (and sprint!) of the way.

More than competition, this day celebrates growth while cheering on classmates, trying something new, persevering through challenges, and experiencing the joy of being part of a community.

We are so proud of our students for the heart, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm they brought to the track. 👏

đź‘”Principal for the Day Announcement!

Mr. Alex officially took the reins as Park Street School Principal for the day, and what a day it was!

After signing his official contract and reviewing the day’s agenda, Principal Alex jumped right into leadership mode by greeting students at arrival. A breakfast strategy session at Paramount with trusted colleagues may or may not have included some top-secret school business. 🤫

The day’s highlights? Reading to Kindergarten, handing out coveted marshmallow pins during classroom observations, and carefully considering very serious recess proposals from his Grade 2 "colleagues".

In one of his biggest executive decisions, Principal Alex enthusiastically approved an ALL-SCHOOL Spirit Day for the next week. 🎉

By the end of the day, students and faculty agreed: Principal Alex’s leadership was a HUGE success.

Thank you for leading the way, Mr. Alex. We think the corner office suits you! 👏
