Boston Public Schools celebrates our 2026 valedictorians!
Thirty-three exceptional seniors graduated at the top of their class. We’ll celebrate them each day over the next few weeks, highlighting a little about what makes them so special.
East Boston High School: Arielle Tritto
While mastering East Boston High coursework, Arielle has been active in her school community and beyond. She was a four-year member of the varsity softball team, captaining the squad in her senior year. She also was a member of the Athletic Council and is the President of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, she worked in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office as well as in multiple childcare facilities in East Boston. She'll attend Boston University on a full scholarship and plans to double major in political science and history on a pre-law track.

Our annual Educator Exposition was held June 2 in our gym. Every expo has a theme, and this year's was a Medieval Faire. In addition to the results of year-long professional learning displays designed to engage other teachers, the expo also included some jousting, archery, catapults and, yes, even a bubonic plague carrier (Mr. LaCara, who gave out tiny plastic rats!)

Thank you to Ms. Brittany Elliot for her generous donation of make-up artistry to our OSDC ladies attending tonight's prom. She made our already lovely students into stunning beauties!
