The virtual event will include brief remarks by Mass Cultural Council leadership and some of our partners in government and the cultural sector, as well as a performance by Massachusetts Poet Laureate Regie Gibson.

All grant recipients, members of Local Cultural Councils and Tribal Cultural Councils, representatives from Cultural Districts, and other stakeholders from the cultural sector are invited to our virtual celebration! We had a fantastic time yesterday celebrating the nearly $670,000 in state dollars that Mass Cultural Council is investing into communities, organizations, and individuals throughout Nantucket’s & Martha’s Vineyard's cultural sectors this Fiscal Year.

Congratulations to Pittsfield native Ali Louis Bourzgui, for his Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical this past weekend! 👏👏

We note with pride that during his career Bourzgui has performed in several theater companies , including our grantees Berkshire Theatre Group and Barrington Stage Company.
