On Friday, our team stepped away from our desks and spent the day supporting communities across Florida as part of Destination Knowledge’s Give Back Day.

Kris and Leah volunteered with Feeding Tampa Bay, helping stock food pantry shelves for neighbors in need.

🐾 Kris also stopped by Pet Pal Animal Shelter Thrift Store and donated bags of clothes and shoes, helping support their animal shelter. Every purchase made through the thrift store helps provide care and shelter for animals in need.

Cali spent the day at Trinity Café with Feeding Pinellas, serving meals and welcoming guests.

🏖️ Matt spent time cleaning up a beach in Volusia County, helping keep Florida’s shoreline clean and beautiful.

Patty volunteered with The Pantry of Broward assisting with drive-thru food distribution and helping provide food to neighbors throughout the area.

🌊 Linda and her family participated in Palm Beach County’s Beach Bucket program, collecting debris along the shoreline.

We’re proud of our team members for spending their day giving back through service, compassion, and community involvement. From food pantries to beach cleanups, every effort helped support the people and places that make our communities special.

Teachers at Center Academy are using Ascend Education to help students review concepts they might have missed in the past, giving them the targeted practice they need to approach math with confidence.

As Dan Curry, Asst VP of Operations, puts it: "By incorporating adaptive technology into our math programs, we continue to see positive results and remain focused on helping every student achieve success at their own level."

As the event wrapped up today, we want to thank all the educators, administrators, and staff who stopped by the booth and joined our breakout sessions.

Throughout the summit, Cali Swango shared how schools are using MindPlay and Ascend Math to help students build reading and math skills. Her sessions highlighted student success stories and the incredible progress educators helped make possible during the 2025-2026 school year.

A few weeks ago we announced that Center Academy Hunter's Creek earned the Ascend Education 2026 Gold Medal School award, and this week we got to celebrate that achievement in person!

We had the pleasure of recognizing Director Melissa Adams and her team, a well-deserved moment for a school that has made math growth a daily priority for every student. Their commitment to showing up every single day and doing the work is reflected in their students' growth, and we couldn't be more proud to be part of their journey. 👏

The celebration continues! 🎉 A huge congratulations to Center Academy Palm Harbor on becoming a 2026 Ascend Math Gold Medal School! 🥇

At Center Academy, Ascend Education is helping support student achievement by addressing foundational skill gaps for students who are typically 1-2 years behind.

Implemented alongside regular instruction and monitored through MAP testing, their goal is to help students gain at least one full year of math growth.

Beyond the numbers, students are developing stronger study habits, incredible persistence, and newfound confidence in their learning!

We love seeing the incredible work happening at a middle school in the School District of Manatee County!

This chart tracks a group of 8th graders who started in October 2025 reading well below grade level.

By using MindPlay, these students have made massive leaps, which you can see in the distance between the red baseline dots and the blue dots.

On average, they gained over two and a half reading grade levels in just one school year.

We're so thrilled to support the teachers and students making this kind of progress a reality!
