We are feeling all the feels this final week of school! We have both part-time and full-time learners with us for the full week and celebrations almost every day. Here is a message to Roots families from our Ms. Brittany:
Oh this crew 😭❤️ it is so special having this week open for all learners!
We spent a lot of time this morning reflecting on all the different ways we are feeling with it being the last week of school. Some emotions that came up were - excited, nervous, happy, bored, overwhelmed to name a few! We talked about how some of us are feeling two or more feelings at once and how to be respectful in a group when your feelings may differ from someone else’s.
We spent a lot of time putting those finishing touches on the showcase projects!! No more pictures of those though, as it the final countdown, so it stays a surprise! 😀 Also the support that surrounded one learner today as they made some big progress on their science experiment was just exactly the kind of community we are trying to create at Spark.
Thank you for allowing your little ones to be a part of this year with us! I truly adore each one of them so much & all of the uniqueness that comes with each person!

WOW. We did it!!! 💛
Together, we raised $4,430 during the Giving Challenge! And that does not even include the donor match. With matching funds, we are expecting over $7,000 total!!
We are unbelievably grateful and so proud of our rockstar community for showing up in such a big way. This is what makes Spark special.
New play equipment, here we come! 🙌

And a truly ginormous shoutout to parent volunteers Andrea Mueller and Bianca Hellenga, who put in way, way, way more than typical volunteer hours and went completely above and beyond over the past 3 months to help plan and create for this event. We could not have done this without you.
Phew. What a moment. Congrats to all of us at Spark, and thank you to every single one of our amazing supporters!
