Quick Announcement! The Writing Center will close at 1pm today (Wednesday, November 27th) and reopen next Monday (December 2nd) with our regular hours.

As the semester draws to a close, be aware that our schedule is quickly filling up and it may be very difficult to get an appointment with one of our tutors. Please don’t wait to contact us if you think that you’ll need to come in or if your professor requires you to!

However, if you are unable to schedule an appointment then you may still be able to meet with a tutor during a walk-in session. Here’s how it works: Fifteen minutes after every hour (10:15, 11:15, 12:15, etc) if another student does not show up for their appointment, then we can open up their spot for anyone waiting here for a walk-in. While there certainly aren’t any guarantees, if you desperately need our help that may be your best (or only) option. But please schedule in advance if you can!

Don’t forget that the Writing Center is still open during the summer, just for slightly reduced hours. We will address that in more detail in the next few weeks. Best of luck with your finals!
