Oratory Champion!!! We are so proud of Ethan who won 1st Place in Brooklyn’s multi-district Oratory contest! Shout out to Ms. Nicholson who lead an amazing year of Oratory and Debate programs!

Congratulations to our third grader Marlowe, who won the auction item for an extra PE class for her entire grade! 🎉 Marlowe also had the opportunity to choose the activity, and she selected a fan favorite - Crab Soccer 🦀⚽️

Congrats to our intrepid squad who represented PS 56 at the D13 Science Fair last week with projects that explored how lightning forms, whether images influence decision making, and how germs, playing on the playground, and handwashing intersect. The latter two projects earned top honors — congrats Kian for winning 3rd grade with “Bagels with a Side of Positivity” and duo Mary & Louisa for winning the PreK-2nd grade band with “Playing with Germs”!

Optional Friday fun… end career week by coming to school dressed up as a career you’re inspired by!
