This year’s Outrageously Bold Award went to none other than Mr. Peter Damour! Our Campus Ministry Director has only just completed his first year at CRB but has already left his mark on the community.
From organizing Mass and school retreats to completely transforming our choir - Mr. Damour truly embodies what it means to be Outrageously Bold!

As we near the end of our fiscal year, we're grateful for the supporters who make Cristo Rey Brooklyn possible.
What makes that gratitude even more meaningful? Everything our students achieve is powered by a community of fewer than 500 annual donors.
For many of our students, they are the first in their family to go on to college. For many of our alumni, their careers are just beginning. So much of this impact is made possible by people who believe in their potential.
Every gift matters. Every donor matters.
Make your gift before June 30th, and help change a student's future:https://form-renderer-app.donorperfect.io/give/cristo-rey-brooklyn-high-school/donate-to-crb

100% college acceptance, more than $13 million in scholarships and grants, and a future full of promise—congratulations, Class of 2026!

Four great years. Countless college dreams realized. Infinite possibilities ahead.
Friday’s graduation ceremony for Cristo Rey Brooklyn’s Class of 2026, was a tribute to resilience, growth, reinvention, and the courage to imagine new possibilities.
This remarkable class achieved 100% college acceptance, earning spots at top schools including NYU, Boston University, Fordham, Syracuse, RIT, the University of Scranton, and more—with one senior, Ife O., '26, earning a highly selective, full-tuition QuestBridge Scholarship to Brown University.
Our keynote speaker, Adam Unger, associate at Herrick, Feinstein LLP, and all those who graced us with their words during the ceremony, reminded graduates of what can happen when determination meets opportunity, emphasizing that dreaming big and being practical aren’t opposites—big dreams require action, discipline, and the courage to keep building, even when the path changes.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! We’ll be cheering for you throughout every step of the future.

Before they cross the graduation stage tonight, the Class of 2026 gathered in gratitude, reflection, and celebration for Cristo Rey Brooklyn’s Baccalaureate Mass and Awards Dinner, held Thursday at the Church of St. Jerome.
The soon-to-be graduates processed from Cristo Rey Brooklyn to the church, to applause and well wishes from community members. The mass was celebrated by the Very Rev. Fr. Dwayne Davis, pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, and included prayers and intentions spoken in English, Kreyol, Spanish, Yoruba, and French, along with singing in Igbo and a moving liturgical dance by CRB's own Karizma M., '27.
In his homily, Fr. Davis honored not only our seniors’ accomplishments, but also empowered them to step boldly into the future with confidence, purpose, and pride in who they are.
“All of us are born original, but most of us die as copies. My CRB friends, I'm inviting you to go out into the world and allow the light of Christ to shine through you. Allow your uniqueness to shine and transform the world. We have enough copies—we simply need you, the graduates of the Class of 2026, to become the best versions of yourself.”
Afterward, students and families gathered in the CRB gym for awards and scholarships given for outstanding academic, service, civic achievements.
Congrats, seniors!

Throughout the spring semester, all Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School freshmen took part in the AI League program, a career-connected learning experience and citywide competition for NYC students. MOUSE AI empowers young people to be problem solvers and leaders in a tech-driven world by learning and applying UI/UX design, Generative AI, and Computer Science to build working prototypes and products that improve life across NYC.
This is the second year of CRB's collaboration with MOUSE AI, and, under the guidance of Cristo Rey Brooklyn's Operations and Curriculum Associate Ms. Shay Abrahams, students identified real challenges facing communities—from education and health to sustainability and advocacy—and designed app prototypes using Figma to create solutions that can make a difference.
For this year's presentation day, students were joined by representatives from MOUSE AI, including Gemelli Briceño, senior program manager of the AI League and Larry Lieberman, chief executive officer, as they pitched mockups of their apps, explaining their ideation process and their personal connections to some of the social issues they addressed, along with the AI tools they used to create the mockups.
A special thank you to for sponsoring this year’s program and helping Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School offer opportunities that empower the next generation of innovators.

Each year, beyond our 70+ corporate work study partners, Cristo Rey Brooklyn also partners with vibrant, mission-driven NYC and global organizations that help us create transformative opportunities and experiences for students that could happen only in NYC.
This spring, CRB’s Art Club joined Liverpool Football Foundation’s (LPF) Creative Works USA team for an-eight week program focused on teaching employability skills to art students. These skills were then translated to hands-on art projects, with this year’s program participants creating miniature self-portrait sculptures, modeled after the tradition of Japanese Manga. Their final sculptures were included at LPF’s World Book Day event, which was supported by , one of the world’s largest publishing companies, and created space for students to reflect on their personal narratives.
“Joining the Creative Works team and participating in their activities was engaging, enjoyable, and exciting all mixed into one," said Danielle F., '29. "The project enabled me to meet people outside of CRB who were new and amazing.”
