What made Mother’s Day special wasn’t perfection. It was watching children share music, confidence, and joy with the people who love them most.

This year’s celebration was especially meaningful because it wasn’t just the students performing — we had parents join in too. Seeing families make music together in the same room created something truly heartfelt and unforgettable. There’s something powerful about a child looking over and seeing a parent singing, participating, and being fully present in the moment with them.

One of the most moving moments of the day was our final sing-along of Lean On Me, with my son Alejandro accompanying everyone on piano. Hearing the entire room singing together — students, parents, teachers, and families — was a beautiful reminder of what music is really about: connection, support, courage, and community.

I’m incredibly proud of my staff, all of our performers, and the parents who participated so openly and enthusiastically. Thank you for helping create such a warm and joyful celebration. These are the moments children remember for the rest of their lives. ❤️ - Andrew Ingkavet

Thank you to Da Nonna Rosa for the space, ambience and delicious food as always!
