Are you the only theatre educator in your school?

Who do you turn to when you need help with productions, budgets, technical theatre, recruiting students, or simply finding a better way to do things?
You don't have to figure it all out alone.

There is a growing community of theatre educators sharing ideas, solutions, resources, and support with one another.

Because theatre teachers deserve a network too.

I’m grateful to share a recent conversation I had with Mark Entrekin on the Achieving Unity Leadership System Podcast.

For over 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a theatre educator—directing productions, teaching students, and collaborating with educators who are passionate about growth and learning.

Through this journey, I’ve come to deeply believe that theatre is more than performance.

It is a space where we build:
✨ leadership
✨ confidence
✨ discipline
✨ self-expression
✨ and real-life skills that last far beyond the stage

In our conversation, we also explored how theatre can help simplify systems, reduce overwhelm, and bring more joy back into teaching and learning.

I’ve seen firsthand how students and educators transform when they are given the space to grow in confidence and purpose.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—
How has creativity or performance shaped your own growth?

Today Wednesday, I’ll be going LIVE with Mark Entrekin on the 81st Weekly Achieving Unity Leadership System™ Podcast, and we’re diving into:

✨ Why theatre builds real-world life skills
✨ How to take the stress out of auditions
✨ What it really means to create a supportive, creative classroom
