Sometimes ABNORMAL is much better than the norm. Here’s why.

I saw a statistic that made me stop and think 🧠. Only a minority of adults meet both aerobic activity and muscle-strengthening recommendations. Which means what feels “normal” today may not actually support long-term health.

That’s why I think we need to rethink normal ⚡. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s becoming intentionally uncommon. Move enough to challenge your body. Build strength enough to protect your future. Because muscle isn’t just about appearance—it supports metabolism, resilience, and even brain health over time ✨.

Start here:
→ 150 minutes per week of moderate physical activity (like brisk walking)
→ Strength training at least 2× per week

Because being average isn’t always the safest strategy.

The question is:
What healthy habit would make you “abnormal” compared with most people around you?

Share this with someone you love who’s being recklessly normal ❤️

So I work with a lot of companies, and one thing has always puzzled me:

Why do people seem surprisingly calm about losing their jobs—even when people around them are being laid off?

The answer may have less to do with confidence and more to do with psychology 🧠. When humans face a shared threat, we often look to the group for cues. If everyone else appears calm, we unconsciously borrow that sense of safety—even when the risk is real.

But there’s a hidden danger in that ⚠️. Seeking comfort from the group can sometimes keep us from taking action. Instead of only asking, “How do I feel better about this?” it may be worth asking, “What can I do today to create more security, options, and freedom for myself?” ✨

Because resilience isn’t just emotional.
It’s strategic.

If your job disappeared tomorrow, would you feel prepared—or exposed?

There are two things that destroy high performance.

I used to believe relentless goal-chasing and rapid problem-solving were the ultimate success drivers ⚡ — until neuroscience and performance psychology revealed a hidden cost. When I become overly goal-directed, my stress response can spike, narrowing creativity, connection, and long-term momentum.

What truly elevates performance is a shift inward 🌱. When I lead with compassion and anchor into a vivid vision of my ideal self, problems stop feeling like emergencies and start becoming stepping stones ✨.

Could focusing less on problems actually make you perform better?

Can your mindset influence how long—and how well—you live?

Most people think of longevity in terms of food, exercise, and sleep. While these are essential, emerging science suggests that meaning, purpose, optimism, resilience, social connection, and the subjective experience of life may also play powerful roles.

You’ve been told your whole life: focus harder.
But what if that’s exactly what’s keeping you stuck?

Because the moments you think you’re “wasting time”, daydreaming, doodling, wandering, are often when your brain is building its most powerful ideas.

This book reveals how to:
• Break out of mental loops and stuck thinking
• Spark creativity on demand
• Boost memory, clarity, and innovation
• Work with your brain, not against it

It’s not about doing more.
It’s about unlocking a smarter, freer, more creative mind.

If you’ve ever felt busy but not truly productive… this will change how you think. https://buff.ly/wGrcDM0

You may not have realized this is one reason time feels like it’s flying by.

I used to think time speeding up was just part of getting older ⏳. But research points to something else — when my brain is in a constant state of anxiety, attention fragments and memories compress, making entire weeks or months feel like they vanished.

It’s not just “life moving fast” — it’s how my brain is processing it 🧠. When I’m less stressed and more present, time feels fuller, clearer, and more expansive again ✨.

What tends to trigger your anxiety—or what helps calm it?

IDEAL SELF GUIDE 06/10/2026

Most people set goals without ever asking one critical question:

**Who is my Ideal Self?**

Neuroscience shows that when you create a clear vision of who you want to become, your brain begins working differently. Stress circuits quiet down, motivation pathways activate, and positive habits become easier to sustain.

This is one reason some people achieve meaningful progress without burning out while others remain stuck in cycles of effort and frustration.

To help you apply this science, I've created a **FREE Ideal Self Guide** that I use with senior leaders around the world.

Inside, you'll learn how to:

✔ Define a compelling vision for your future in career, health, and relationships
✔ Clarify your core values so decisions become easier
✔ Understand your personal and social identity with greater confidence
✔ Discover what fuels hope—and what quietly drains it
✔ Transform clarity into consistent, sustainable progress

When you know who you're becoming, your goals stop feeling like a struggle and start feeling like a natural extension of your identity.
