The Haven Academy

We had such a fun and creative week at LEGO Robotics and STEM Challenges Camp!

The students explored both engineering and coding while building and programming so many exciting creations including taxi cars, race cars, cable cars, pinball machines, obstacle courses, helicopters, a foosball table, a breakdancing robot, and even color-identifying robots.

Along with coding and robotics, students also enjoyed creative free-build challenges and hands-on STEM learning activities. Throughout the week, they explored concepts like friction, gravity, motion, force, chain reactions, and even built Rube Goldberg machines while learning the fundamentals of word block coding.

This fall, we are starting a new partnership with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office that will help make our campus even safer!

Or- do they love board games? We’ve got this too!

Students in 8th-12th grade can come on Fridays this fall from 12:30-2:30 and play games with other teens!
