Carmel Middle School Bands

We had the BEST time in Chicago with our 8th graders last weekend for the Music in the Parks Festival.

The students performed at a very high level and earned a Superior rating and First place in their category. To top it off, they also earned the highest middle school band score of the weekend to earn the Best Overall trophy!

After the performance they bowled, played tons of arcade games, and played mini-golf at Kristoff’s.

The next day was a full Six Flags day and the kids rode coasters, won giant stuffies, and ate their way through the park!

Memories were made, friendships were strengthened, and they had a blast just being together💙

It was celebration day for our 6th graders!

Students who passed off all 12 major scales or completed their Bandopoly boards earned an invitation to a lunch time pizza party!

Over 50 students completed both challenges and earned a bonus chocolate bar!

We are so proud of their accomplishments this year!

6 pieces of music, 1 Worldwide Premiere, 173 hats and sunglasses worn, and countless memories💙

We are so proud of all you have accomplished this year and cannot wait to continue the journey next year!

The Carmel Middle School Jazz Band had their final concert of the school year last night! We had an exciting year and we will miss our 8th grade students so much next year! Congratulations to all, and to Isaac for being awarded the Woody Herman Jazz Award! 🎷🪊🎺🎶

What a night! Our 7th and 8th grade Spring concerts were the perfect ending to a wonderful year of music.
