The Ingram Library is an invaluable resource to every student at UWG, especially graduate students. 📚

With an extensive database that students can access regardless of location or course modality, workshops designed to help you develop skills to succeed, and more, the Ingram Library has many tools and resources to make graduate study easier.

Direct Admit gives qualifying UWG students guaranteed admission into an aligned graduate program. After a simplified, free application, eligible undergraduate students will be accepted to a graduate school program. ➡️

If you graduated in Spring 2026, or are planning to graduate soon, check your UWG student email for a message from us with your personalized application link!

To qualify for Direct Admission, you must meet all three of the following criteria:

✅ 100 or more credit hours completed
✅ At least 30 of those hours earned at UWG
✅ A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

Congratulations to Molly Nigro, one of our EDSI doctoral students, on being awarded a prestigious graduate fellowship from Georgia Institute of Technology for the summer and fall semesters!

Through this fellowship, Molly will contribute to the program evaluation of the Georgia Space Grant Consortium, a statewide network of K–12, higher education, and community initiatives funded by NASA.

Molly’s achievement reflects her dedication, talent, and commitment to scholarly excellence. We are proud to see our students pursuing opportunities that extend their learning beyond the classroom and showcase the strength of UWG!

This summer, we are welcoming our new graduate students to campus for a free, in-person orientation. If you are a newly admitted student, join us to learn all things UWG, from registering for courses to picking up your ID card. 🪪

Are you traveling to present or conduct research between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2026? Then don't miss your window to request a Graduate Travel and Research Grant! The deadline to complete the form is this upcoming June 5.

Travel grants can be used to cover many of the costs that conferences incur. With a travel grant, you can be reimbursed up to $2,000 for certain travel costs.
