We are gearing up, and excited to see all of Eagles back at the Nest this upcoming school year!

It was a packed meeting room this afternoon as we celebrated the work our Superintendent, Mr. Scott Cowart, has done over his 46 years in education, and 16 as our district leader. He has never just gone through the motions, and has set a standard for us to strive to meet. We wish you all the best in retirement and are grateful to be beneficiaries of your commitment to excellence in Carroll County!

Reminder!

The MZMS Boys Basketball team will tip off their Summer League season tomorrow at Bremen High School. Game time is 12:30 PM.

📍 Athletes should report to the MZMS New Gym at 10:00 AM before departure.

Our School Leadership Team was hard at work today preparing for the 2026-2027 year! We spent time discussing our First-Choice Strategies, how we can better Connect with our stakeholders through Caring and Service, analyzing our data from the past year, and developing our School Improvement Plan. We left our meeting excited about the opportunities we will provide for our Eagles in the fall. Job well done, Team!

We are excited to announce that our middle school is partnering with the West Georgia Regional Library System for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge!

Our goal is simple: keep our Eagles reading, growing, and exploring all summer long. Whether it’s mystery, fantasy, sports, graphic novels, or real-life stories—every page helps keep minds sharp and ready for next year!
