We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Travis Pruitt has been named the new Director of Bands for The Hebron Band!ππ€
For the past 11 years, Mr. Pruitt has been a familiar face, trusted mentor, and passionate leader within our program. He has helped shape the student experience, develop outstanding musicians, and contribute to the tradition of excellence that makes The Hebron Band so special.
With 18 years of directing experience, Mr. Pruitt brings exceptional leadership, musical expertise, and a deep understanding of our program's traditions, values, and vision. During his time at Hebron, he has served as conductor of our Symphonic, Concert, and Varsity Ensembles while helping guide the continued success of the nationally recognized Hebron Marching Band.
What makes this announcement especially exciting is that Mr. Pruitt already knows what it means to be All In. All the Time. He understands our legacy. He believes in our students. He has invested more than a decade into building the culture that defines our band family.
Beyond Hebron, Mr. Pruitt is entering his 13th season on the Bluecoats brass staff, contributing to some of the most successful programs in the activity, including the 2024 DCI World Championship and the Jim Ott Award for Best Brass Performance.
While Mr. Sealy's retirement marks the end of an incredible era, his 23-year legacy burns brighter than ever. The traditions, standards, and culture he built remain at the heart of The Hebron Band and will continue to inspire future generations.
As we turn the page to a new chapter, we do so with tremendous confidence and excitement. Built on a foundation of excellence and driven by a commitment to our students, the future of The Hebron Band is bright.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. Pruitt on this well-deserved role!
ALL IN. ALL THE TIME.
