Thank you to our wonderful nurse, Jurnee Henderson, for her amazing work in keeping our students healthy. She is always ready to talk to a student, check on their health, offer help, and just generally step in to save the day around here. We are grateful for all that you do, Nurse Henderson!

Thank you to Heartland Church and Young Life for the thoughtful gifts during Teacher Appreciation Week. You keep us fed and motivated, and we are so grateful!

This week we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are so grateful to the Carrollton Early Childhood PTA for providing lunch and drinks yesterday. We are fortunate to have the wonderful job of transforming young lives, and we are equally fortunate to have the support of wonderful communities like yours, who make our work possible.

Students created one-point perspective drawings, applying colored pencil for value and painting the background.

Students designed textured yarn paintings and enhanced their artwork with watercolor paints, adding depth and vibrant color.

This week is Gifted & Talented Awareness Week in Texas!
Gifted learners have unique academic and developmental needs. We recognize the educators who support these learners and the impact of gifted services in our school community.

Today we celebrate our amazing paraprofessionals, who serve in all capacities around our school to serve our staff, students, and community. Without their tireless efforts, special skills, and passion for our school, we would not be able to exist, let alone serve our students. Thank you for all you do, our wonderful paraprofessionals!

Congratulations to Mrs. Sachse for receiving the Educational Foundation grant. Thank you to Educational Foundation and the Bolte Art Project Funds for supporting our teachers and students. Mrs. Sachse wrote a grant for students to create 3-Dimmentioanal Felt Food sculptures and we can’t wait to see what they create!
