The Orthotic Fitter Pre-Certification program at CSUDH is approved by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics (ABC) and provides the education you need to pursue the Certified Orthotic Fitter credential.

In the program, you’ll learn how to fit prefabricated and off-the-shelf orthoses—medical devices like braces and splints that help support recovery from injuries or manage physical conditions—all through expert training and hands-on experience.

Ideal for high school graduates ready to start a healthcare career—or those already in the field looking to expand their credentials.

Classes combine online learning with in-person labs, giving you the ability to build your skills in real-world settings.
