Breaking the silence
Gowing up in as a missionary kid in Europe, Tanja has a long history of caring for people and loving the Lord. Moving to Colorado at 14, she quickly developed a love for the mountains and followed her heart to attend a 2 year Bible school in Estes Park at 18, where she met a man who would change her life forever. For 15 years she tried to have a God honoring marriage, constantly trying to change h
erself to be more pleasing and lovable, but all she found was heartache, addictions, lies, emotional/sexual/physical/spiritual abuse, and a shattered spirit. Filled with doubt, self hatred, confusion, fear and shame, she eventually found the courage to run. By God's grace, hard work, and lots of support from counselors, she found healing, not just for her own heart but for her 2 sons as well. And it was in this process that she developed her passion for helping other women find freedom, healing and wholeness. The Lord draws near to the brokenhearted and it is her absolute joy to partner with him in this work, because facing the world as a Christian divorced woman and single mother can feel incredibly daunting. For the last several years she has worked towards understanding attachment styles, trauma, false belief narratives, nervous systems, spiritual abuse, coercive control tactics, family systems, and more and received her certification in faith-based life coaching in 2023. She is also in the process of certification as a domestic abuse advocate with Called to Peace Ministies. However, it is not only women who are coming out of abuse who desire a wholehearted life. Many have experienced loneliness, isolation, codependency, a loss of identity, faith crisis, loss of connection, failed relationships, miscarriages, unwanted singleness, self hatred, fear and shame. And ALL deserve to know that they matter and are loved, and most of all know that they are NOT ALONE. Tanja walks along side women to help them recognize their own worth, their purpose, their identity and find a way to connect, both in relationship to others and to God and reconnect to their own hearts and emotions in the process. Through identifying our pain, and bringing in compassion, profound joy and hope can be restored. Contact Tanja today for a free consultation at [email protected] and schedule your first appointment at
