This holiday season, I am reaching out with a small ask that can make a big impact. I’ve put together an Amazon Wish List with items that will directly benefit the underprivileged children and youth we support in Burkina Faso, providing educational materials, and tools to help them learn and thrive.
If you feel moved this season, please consider visiting the wish list and choosing an item to donate. Your generosity helps bring hope, opportunity, and joy to children who truly need it. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for being part of this journey.

Throwback to the Fun We Had! Visit and conversation with Burkinabe music artist AUDRAY.
Last year in 2024, the Burkinabe music artist AUDRAY visited Impact4Life. An inspiring discussion took place between the artist and the youth about her career path, the challenges she faced, and the key skills needed for success.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, NC.
In 2022, Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, NC kindly donated notebooks and laptops to support our Impact4Life STEM program, and today, we’re proud to share how their generosity continues to make a real difference!
The boys and girls at our center are now using these tools to learn basic computing, digital skills, and develop creativity that will open doors to future opportunities. Seeing their excitement and growth is proof of the lasting impact of this gift.
A special thank-you to Teresa Barrow and Ayelo Elias at Trinity Episcopal School for making this possible. Your support is empowering young minds in Burkina Faso.

Through our STEMS program, our team seeks to be inspired by the remarkable story of the winners highlighted below:
The Robotics For Good youth challenge winners presented the trophy to the Minister of Secondary Education of Burkina Faso
At the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva, student teams from across the world showcased how robotics and AI can support disaster response. In the Senior Category, Burkina Faso secured an impressive third place behind South Korea (2nd) and Brazil (1st), outperforming many countries with far greater access to advanced technology and resources. The Burkina Faso team’s achievement highlighted both their resilience and their strong problem-solving skills, proving that innovation and vision can shine even without the advantages of cutting-edge infrastructure.

Happy Anniversary Impact4Life!
Dear friends and Impact4Life family,
Thank you to all who continue to believe in our vision, support us, and lift us up in prayer.
Five years ago, in 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges of confinement, I took the leap to establish Impact4Life, a nonprofit incorporated in the U.S. with operations in Burkina Faso. Our mission has been clear from the beginning: to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and youth in Burkina Faso through education, science, technology, arts, music, community service, and more.
It was a tough decision, but one of the best I’ve ever made. Today, hundreds of children in Burkina Faso have the chance to learn, grow, and reach their full potential every year.
Thomas Sankara, the great African leader and visionary, once said: “We must have the courage to dare to invent the future.” As Impact4Life celebrates five years today, I want to thank each of you for inspiring me to dare and keep inventing the future. A very special thanks goes to our board, Kip, Lauriane, Sylvie and BF staff Francis, Adjara, Flavien for your dedication and tireless work since the beginning.
Above all, I thank God for trusting us to make a difference in the lives of children and to play a part in making this world a better place. All honor and glory to Him.
With gratitude,
Frederic Hien
