ARES has spent the last two days going through an amazing training called Capturing Kids Hearts! Our staff is fully committed and deep into the work of making SEL a part of our every day journey!! S/o to our trainers!! They are wonderful.

Good Afternoon ARES Families:

Tomorrow Wednesday May 5th is our last early release day of the year. All students will need to stay logged on with their teacher until 11:30am as required by the district to receive instruction. The only students who should report to campus tomorrow are the Extensions students who will be dismissed no later than11:30 am from campus.

Next week is the best week of the year! Students and families help us celebrate our awesome teachers During teacher appreciation week!!! They have worked so hard this year. 💛

The CMS Board of Education voted to return middle and high school students to classrooms four days a week on April 12, excluding students who opt for Full Remote Academy. The board also voted to keep open 82 currently operating After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) sites through year end.

Five-day meal bundles will be available for pick up on Wednesday, December 16 and Monday, December 21 from 10 am – 1 pm at select locations throughout the district.

To assist families through the holidays, families may pick up two meal bundles per child on Monday, December 21 (while supplies last). Families are responsible for managing the storage and consumption of food products throughout this longer-than-usual period. Some foods do require refrigeration or are to remain frozen until consumed. Other products are shelf-stable.

If additional food is needed, bundles will include a flyer informing families how to request a self-referral to Loaves and Fishes.

Weekly meal bundle distribution will resume on Wednesday, January 6.

We were chosen by the Charlotte NPHC, The City of Charlotte,Second Harvest, and Black Nurses Rock of Greater Charlottetown be the recipients of a Little Food Pantry!! Today it was delivered and set up. This will allow us to serve our families beyond our monthly food pantries, and weekly food bundles. We are very thankful!
