This is a painting/collage Lesson!
Theme: Unmasking Your Voice
Date: TUESDAY, AUGUST 4th at 1pm

(YOU MUST REGISTER BY MONDAY AT 8pm)

Engage 2020: Unmasking Your Voice (Virtual) | Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Turn off the outside noise for a bit and join local artist Cathay Dawkins to create a collage that embodies a world WITHOUT injustice. Supplies required: pencil, black paint, Sharpies, 16x20 canvas or large poster board, Mod Podge or glue, quotes, magazines, buttons, yarns, etc.

Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, PhD is hosting a National Art Competition for Highschool students! The Winner’s ArtWork will Be on Display in the United States Capitol!

She and I discussed this Competition back in October. Unfortunately, in the past there has been low participation from NC students!
Her team just reached out to me! Let’s make sure NC is Well Represented!
