Calling all poets and painters! Tomorrow we celebrate our teachers via a note, poem, drawing etc to thank them for all they do!!!

Tomorrow is the start of Teacher Appreciation! Monday is Flower Power! Bring your teachers and staff a flower from your garden, pick up a bouquet from the Teeter or draw them a pretty picture of some flowers! A thank you to all the families that have been helping out to prepare for this week! Tuesday is Poets and Painters - let’s see our scholars make some beautiful art or write their teachers a poem about how much they love them.

I cannot express how overwhelming the response has been to the donations for this week's Teacher Appreciation! What amazing families we have supporting our teachers, administrators and staff! Majority of slots are filled, but we never turn anyone away for any donation. If anyone who would like to also help in other ways during next week, please email us or pm us.

Good Afternoon to all our Parents and Guardians,

We wanted to reach out and let you know that while the 2020/2021 school year has been unprecedented, the PTA has been active on trying to find new ways to advocate for our teachers and students. Therefore, we are asking for help from our families as we all prepare to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week the week of May 3-7th, 2021. The PTA will be providing individual gifts to all teachers and staff, but we are reaching out for some help on the planned activities for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week. Below is the link for the Signup Genius. All donations can be delivered to the school via the front office. We will begin collecting these items on Monday, May 3 at the front office. The PTA welcomed back our teachers to the building today! A great big thank you for all our teachers and administrators are doing!!!

Just wanted to pass along information that was disclosed by CMS yesterday. All breakfast/lunches are FREE until the end of the 2020 calendar year. They will deliver them to you! Why am I telling you this? 1- It keeps our cafeteria and bus drivers employed. 2- Free food to eat or donate. So sign up here to keep our CMS employees and our students fed through the end of the year!!!

CMS Eats at Home We are committed to guaranteeing CMS students have access to healthy and nutritional meals each day. Starting September 1, meal bundles with five breakfasts and five lunches will be available for students. Meal bundles will be available for pick up at meal sites or delivered to students' bus stops...
