🚑✨ Halfway through for the Class of 2026!
Today our cohort spent the day with Bryan Edwards diving into one of the most pressing topics in the EMS profession: recruitment and retention.
Bryan led an insightful and practical session that explored strategies for building strong, engaged teams and creating environments where talented providers want to stay and grow.
With this session, our students have officially reached the halfway point of the program—continuing to strengthen their leadership skills and prepare for higher levels of service within their agencies.

⚖️🚑 EMS Management Institute: Legal Bootcamp for Emergency Services
This week, our EMS Management Institute Class of 2026 returned for month two. Today, participants spent the day in Legal Bootcamp for Emergency Services with David Givot, Esq.
David brought an engaging and practical approach to some of the most important legal issues EMS leaders face today. From documentation and liability to real-world case examples, participants gained a deeper understanding of how to protect themselves, their teams, and their organizations.
It was a powerful and eye-opening session that strengthened the leadership toolkit for rising and current EMS leaders.

Our hearts are with our friends at Gaston County EMS and with Mary’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of a dedicated paramedic who served her community with compassion and commitment. We are holding her colleagues, loved ones, and all who knew her in our thoughts.
