If you have lost someone close to you and would like to be around others who totally ‘get it’, Marcia’s Group is hosting a get together Sept 13th. This is in Charleston, SC.
Marcia’s Group is a bereavement support group created by Debra P as a way to honor her mom, Marcia. Marcia passed away as a result of complications with ovarian cancer. Marcia loved making memories and so each Marcia’s Group get together will include making a memory.
We can accommodate up to 15 people. Space is incredibly limited and we are on a first come, first serve basis. Again, this is a bereavement support group for those who have lost a loved one to cancer. Reach out today. Info is on the flyer. If you can’t make it to this one, there will be another one soon after.

Kenni is doing well today. Lots of sleep and lots of love from visiting family and friends before surgery tomorrow.
We thought we'd have to get an ultrasound of her belly this morning, but labs show great kidney function and the catheter finally started pulling out urine so we were able to bypass that. As far as we have been told, everything is set for surgery tomorrow. We're hopeful that not only will removing the large tumor get her ready for chemo, but it will address other ailments such as difficulty urinating, difficult bowel movements, and labored breathing. It's got to be hard to do all those things when there's a tumor taking up 3/4 your stomach.
We'll keep everyone posted. Please continue to pray for a safe surgery tomorrow for Kenni and that her doctors have steady hands and wise decisions.
As always, thank you for all the love of support for our baby and our family 💙💙💙💙
