DUB C CHEERLEADER PARENT MEETING

Good afternoon Parents,

I hope this message finds you well. We have a few important updates regarding West Charlotte Cheer.

Due to the Summer Leadership Conference being hosted at West Charlotte, tomorrow’s parent meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, June 22, at 6:00 PM.

We will continue with workouts on the following dates from 3:00–5:00 PM at West Charlotte:

June 23
June 24
June 25

Important information regarding tryouts, summer activities, and the upcoming season will be shared during the parent meeting. We look forward to seeing everyone next week.

🎓 Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate one of our incredible graduates, Tahymi Alfreida Mackie.

During today’s graduation ceremony, due to human error, Tahymi’s name was not announced as she crossed the stage. While nothing can fully recreate that moment, we want to publicly acknowledge and sincerely apologize for this mistake.

Today and every day, we celebrate Tahymi Alfreida Mackie, Class of 2026 graduate of West Charlotte High School.

🦁 Scholar Spotlight: Jamir Anthony 🦁
We are incredibly proud of West Charlotte High School scholar Jamir Anthony for being featured by WSOC-TV in a story highlighting the growing opportunities available through the skilled trades.
Through his hard work, dedication, and participation in career and technical training programs, Jamir secured an internship last summer and has now earned the opportunity to return to work with the company again this year—a true win-win!
Jamir’s story is a powerful reminder that there are many pathways to success after high school. Whether through college, military service, entrepreneurship, or the skilled trades, our scholars are building bright futures and making an impact in our community.
