Wildcat Families, the end of the school year is quickly approaching! Please review our 2026 End-of-Year Calendar carefully for important testing dates, early release schedules, EOC information, graduation reminders, and senior deadlines.

✅ Regular school days continue until June 4th
✅ Early release begins June 4th (7:15 AM–12:30 PM)
✅ Students MUST remain on campus until dismissal
✅ Cell phones are NOT permitted during any exam

Please make sure students arrive prepared, on time, and ready to finish the year strong! 💙🤍

National Nurses Week (May 6-12) is a time to celebrate nurses and their commitment to healthcare and patients. Today is also and Florence Nightingale’s birthday, a pioneering figure in the field of nursing during the 19th century.

At CMS, we are grateful for our school nurses and the incredible care they provide to students and staff throughout the school year. They are amazing colleagues and passionate about health and wellness. Thank you, CMS Nursing staff and Mecklenburg County Government Health Department, for all you do to support our community.
