New today: the first excerpt from Hidden Potential. Article link in bio. If you haven’t read the article, here’s a little background on the research on looping. Economists tracked math and reading scores of all public school 3rd, 4th and 5th graders in North Carolina from 1997-2013—and all Indiana 3rd to 8th graders from 2010-2017. Looping was rare but beneficial—especially for less effective teachers and lower-achieving students. Longer relationships helped them grow together
