ARTICLE IV
MEETING OF MEMBERS

Section 6. Location. Meetings of Members shall be held within the Project or as close thereto as possible.

Section 7. Action Taken Without a Meeting. Any action which may be taken by the vote of Members at a regular or special meeting, except the election of the Board, may be taken in the absence of a meeting by written consent.

Number 1 (homeowners) is the correct answer to yesterday’s HOA membership question. All homeowners are automatically members of the HOA. According to Article V, Section 1, of McIntyre’s bylaws and Article 8 of the CCRs, to run for office board members must first be homeowners. A management company is chosen by the board to manage the affairs of the neighborhood. The hierarchy is homeowners, BOD then management company. This is a great discussion question. Let's hear from our board.

1. Homeowners
2. Homeowners and Board of Directors
3. Homeowners and management company
