Congratulations to the STEM Early College students who competed in the State FBLA Leadership competition earlier this spring!! All had a top 8 finish Mai Vang, London Xiong, Keylei Garcia Hernandez, Brandon Rodriguez Garcia, Elijah Deme, Josh Little, Alexia Cagle, Makayla Barbour, & Judit Vasquez! Good luck to Judit Vasquez who finished first in Emerging Business Issues and will be traveling to Las Vegas with SCC FBLA team to compete in Nationals! πŸ©΅πŸ¬πŸ’œ

The North Carolina Student Voice Alliance Ambassador Program is now accepting applications! This leadership and civic engagement opportunity is designed to strengthen communication between students and local school board members while helping ensure student voices are represented in district-level decision making.

Student Ambassadors will:
⭐ Represent their schools and communities
πŸ—£οΈ Share student perspectives with school leaders
🎀 Participate in training focused on education governance, public speaking, and student advocacy
⏰ Earn volunteer service hours

This is a great opportunity for students interested in leadership, advocacy, and making a positive impact in their schools and communities.

We had a wonderful Graduation breakfast this morning thanks to the amazing families who sent in items to be prepared for our graduates on their special day! A special thank you to South Albemarle Baptist Church for hosting again this year and the Harward &Brewer family for cooking & coordinating, thank you to our PTO & staff who made this breakfast event so special. Thank you to Second Street Sundries for the beautiful fruit plate Connie's Cafe for the coffee and drinks & everyone who sent in delicious treats. This morning's breakfast was served up with lots of love & our sophomores enjoyed serving the seniors before their big day! It is truly a great day to be a SSEC Graduate!!πŸŽ“πŸ’œπŸ¬πŸ©΅πŸŽ“
