Charlotte KA Alumni Chapter

Brothers -

On Sunday evening I attended a chapter meeting of the new provisional chapter. Overall, it went well. They had a little over a dozen guys in attendance (I think 15) which I thought was decent given they were in the middle of final exams and they have a total of 18-19 members.

Two rather important pieces of info I wanted to pass along...

1) to receive their official charter, they need to build up to 60 members. Not sure if there is a time limit on reaching this number

2) the old epsilon xi chapter had a balance due of $699. The balance was due to a) chapter dues ($130), b) risk management fees ($170), c) tax return preparation ($335) and d) drug testing fees paid on behalf of chapters ($64).

The alumni chapter currently has ~$4,750 in its account. Please let me know if you have any issues with the alumni removing this financial burden from the new group of guys. I'll plan to clear up this old balance by the end of next week if there is no major opposition.
