Today is a special day in the Hive.
We are honored to welcome back a group of incredible young people, our former Parker Bees, who, when they attended this school, which was named Barringer, are now graduating seniors. Students, as you walk these halls today, I want you to know that this is more than a memory walk⦠this is a full-circle moment.
Years ago, you walked these same hallways with little backpacks, big dreams, and maybe just a little bit of nervousness. You learned how to read, how to solve problems, how to make friends, and how to believe in yourselves right here within these walls. And now, you return as leaders, as role models, and as proof that hard work, perseverance, and determination truly pay off.
We are so proud of you.
Class of 2026, you represent what is possible. You are a living example for every single student watching you today. Your journey has not always been easy, but you stayed the course. And today, you stand on the edge of your next chapter, ready to soar even higher.
Now, to our current Parker Beesβ¦
I want you to take a good look at these seniors. This will be you one day sooner than you think.
The days youβre in right now, learning your letters, solving your math problems, building friendships, listening to your teachers, these moments matter. Every choice you make, every effort you give, every time you try your bestβ¦ it all adds up to the person you are becoming.
One day, you will walk back through these halls just like our seniors are doing today. And when that moment comes, we want you to walk with pride knowing that you gave your best, that you grew, that you overcame challenges, and that you made your time here in the Hive count.
Seniors, before you leave us today, I leave you with this:
Never forget where you started. Carry the lessons, the relationships, and the values you built here at Parker with you wherever life takes you. The world needs your passion, your leadership, and your voice.
And as you take your next steps, whether itβs college, career, or service, remember that you will always have a home here in the Hive.
Once a Bee⦠always a Bee.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. We are so proud of youβand we canβt wait to see all that you will accomplish.
