We are sad to report that we have lost a long-time WIFT-FL member, Carol Halliburton. Losing a wonderful person like Carol is truly heartbreaking. Carol wasn’t just a friend; she was a talented professional actress whose presence lit up every room she entered and every scene she was a part of. As a member of WIFT she was a passionate advocate for the arts, always encouraging and supporting her peers in the industry.

Carol’s dedication to her craft was evident in everything she did. She had a way of bringing characters to life with a depth and sincerity that resonated with audiences and colleagues alike. Her performances were not just about acting; they were about connecting, sharing stories, and touching the hearts of those who watched her. She had an incredible ability to find the truth in every role she played, and she shared that truth with everyone around her.

But beyond her professional achievements, Carol was a great friend. She was the kind of person who was always there when you needed her, offering not just a listening ear, but genuine advice and support. She had a warmth and kindness that made everyone feel valued and understood. Whether it was through her work, her friendship, or her involvement with WIFT-FL, Carol left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Her loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, working with her, and calling her a friend.
